Jessica Manley

Health Careers Program Coordinator

Jessica Manley is originally from rural, Upstate New York. She has a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from SUNY Potsdam and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from St John Fisher College. She worked with Upward Bound in Rochester, New York while working on her master degree. During that time, Jessica worked with students from several high schools, providing mentorship and guidance on career and educational goals. She also provided emotional support surrounding family and educational stressors. Most recently, she worked for Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health as a counselor, working with teen residents in need of inpatient counseling and treatment. Prior to that, she worked as a mobile crisis counselor with Coastal Empire Mental Health (SC DMH) in Beaufort assisting community law enforcers in serving community members in immediate psychiatric need. Jessica lives in Walterboro and has fallen in love with the Lowcountry. When not assisting high school and early college students, Jessica can be found fishing, exploring the history of the area, and trying new cuisine.
