Base upon the current number of lower positive cases per day and the positivity rates in our area as well as the new CDC guidelines, Lowcountry AHEC will be removing the current mask mandate effective March 14th. Participants who are unvaccinated, those with pre-existing conditions, those who may be adversely affected by COVID-19, and those who feel safer wearing a mask, are encouraged to wear masks for their own protection. Lowcountry AHEC will continue to monitor for any new variants or COVID surges and will make changes based on this new information.
