Continuing Professional Development Coordinator

Diana Caron has been a Registered Nurse since 1986. She was a clinical ladder level 3 nurse in Obstetrics until 1997. She then developed and instructed a state approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program in Connecticut and then in South Carolina with her students experiencing a 98% success rate on the national NACES exam.
Diana received her master’s degree in education in 2006 and was faculty in the college setting until 2009. She returned to the clinical setting as a Staff Development and Infection Control Coordinator for an additional three years. She has been employed by Lowcountry AHEC since 2013. Her duties include but are not limited to: conducting needs assessments, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating continuing education programs for all health care disciplines.
