Diane Mathews, M.S.

Center Director

Diane received her MS in health professions education from the Medical University of South Carolina and her BS in medical technology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has been employed with Lowcountry AHEC since 1997. Previously she was the associate director and has worked in many areas including continuing education, health professions student coordination, Deans’ Rural Clerkship, and SCRIPT. Her previous experience includes 15 years as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Manager as well as 4 years teaching at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. Diane is responsible for direction of Lowcountry AHEC programs and management of personnel and finance.
